What is the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?
Stage 1 optimises the engine control unit software on a standard vehicle. Stage 2 adds hardware upgrades (intake, exhaust, cooling…) with a map tuned for those parts.
Why run diagnostics before remapping?
Tuning only makes sense on a healthy base. Diagnostics check the condition of the engine and reveal any faults before going further.
What is coding?
Coding means enabling, disabling or adapting electronic functions of the vehicle, for example after a part has been replaced or added.
Does remapping affect my warranty or insurance?
It can, depending on the vehicle, the manufacturer warranty and your insurance policy. Let’s talk about it before any work, so you can decide with all the facts.
